How to find audiobooks at Barnard Library

How to Access Barnard Audiobooks

Interested in listening to audiobooks using your Barnard Library card? You can! Here's how:

  • Visit the CUL EBSCO audiobooks collection by clicking on the “EBSCOhost” link in the CLIO record. If you’re offcampus, log in with your UNI and password.
  • Click the “Audiobooks” menu option in the blue bar menu at the top of the page to browse or search titles and listen to samples. (see image below)

  • To check out an audiobook, you’ll need to “Sign In” from the blue bar menu at the top of the page. This is your EBSCO sign in; if you don’t already have one, create one.
  • Once you’ve signed in, navigate back to the title you want to borrow and click “Borrow,” then choose the number of days (between 1-21) that you want to borrow it. If another person has it checked out, you’ll be on a waiting list to borrow it when their loan period is over.
  • You can listen to audiobooks you’ve checked out from this web interface or from the EBSCO Audiobooks app on your phone or tablet. To download the app, search your app store for EBSCO Audiobooks.
  • Enjoy!
