Welcome to the final workshop in the Barnard Library Summer Camp series.
The goal of this workshop is to create a space for critical conversations about activist-informed/driven public health policy with a focus on ACT UP, Gran Fury, and WHAM during the height of the AIDS crisis. We will review and discuss ephemera, data and other materials. Central to the conversation will be an analysis of inequity for marginalized groups during epidemics and pandemics in the United States.
