Postal Mail

Your zine will likely weigh one or two ounces. You can mail a one-ounce zine with a first class stamp, like a forever stamp, or the equivalent of 58¢. If the zine consists of more than four pieces of 8.5x11 paper, maybe play it safe and add a little more postage. An extra ounce is 20¢, or a total of 78¢.

Do you want your zine in the Barnard Zine Library? Email Jenna Freedman.

Collaboration Tools

Remote collaboration can be tricky and I am available to offer advice and support. Platforms for remote collaboration include, but are not limited to
  • Cryptpad - free, open source, data secure alternative to Google Drive. Available in China!
  • Dropbox
  • Element - free version, open source, data secure alternative to Slack
  • Etherpad - free, open source application that you can set to disappear after a certain date
  • Google Drive
  • Slack
If it were me (Jenna), I'd suggest each person create their pages the way they want and have one person in charge of assembling them.
