What Zines Are Like

Skim a zine for three minutes and then move on to the next one. You won't have time to read the whole zines.

In small groups discuss for five minutes:

  • Why did the creator(s) choose to make a zine, rather than an Instagram reel, painting, website, TikTok, journal article, etc.
  • How do the graphics complement or complicate the text?
  • What moves you/or not about the zine?

Group share.
