Most of the engagement was around zine-making, rather than zine research, like I want. I also wanted to engage the student zine librarians more deeply and show off how amazing they are.
We began presenting at conferences with students and staff analyzing zines, close reading the words and text. It's also rad to position the students as DIY scholars with their own important expertise.
