Disability Justice: A Reader's Guide: Sexuality

Hi y'all! This is an introduction to Disability Justice including foundational texts as well as fun readings about Disability or for a Disabled reader

Sexuality

Often when thinking about sexuality and sex education for adults, Disability is often left out of the conversation. Educators do not see Disabled people as sexual beings who have needs, might want relationships, and have sexual desire Like Robert McRuer wrote in "Disabling Sex: Notes for a Crip Theory of Sexuality, "What if disability were sexy? And what if disabled people were understood to be both subjects and objects of a multiplicity of erotic desires and practices, both within and outside the parameters of heteronormative sexuality?" These readings are just a start to the expansive literary word of Disability and sex.
